Sunday Musings

Courtesy of Matt Walsh, and it's a good one.  You need to read the whole post, but this one simple sentence really boils down the whole "health care is a right" argument.

YOU DON’T HAVE A RIGHT TO A PRODUCT THAT MUST BE PROVIDED TO YOU THROUGH GOVERNMENTAL COERCION OF A THIRD PARTY.

This is the whole kit and kaboodle of the "rights" argument.  A right can only be a right if nobody else has to provide it.  The moment you make a claim to a "right" that someone else is forced to provide, either through goods, services or money, you are claiming that you can make that person your slave, because your "right" to whatever it is, be it health care, contraception, or food, is more important than that person's freedom to do as they wish with their goods, services or money.

This is why I call the pro-Obamacare people slavers.  They want to make slaves out of everyone, in order to provide "health care" to folks in order to harvest their votes.
