I don't know what's more impressive - how quickly this guy can do a straight-razor shave, or the fact that folks allow someone with that many prison tats to use a straight-razor on their throat.
Ah, who am I kidding? If I lived down there I'd be in that shop every week. That's a gentleman's shop right there. Add in a selection of cigars and it would be friggin' PERFECT.

They're still very good- I use one occasionally- but they are a bit safer than a conventional razor.
My barber, barber Joe, had to stop giving conventional razor shaves about a year ago, it annoyed me no end. Now he uses a feather, which is still a good shave. he goes for the whole deal, though, which is to give four actual shaves- one in each direction- up, down, left, and right, so the cut whisker has a sort of a "Crown" which makes it less likely to ingrow and still allows it to be cut below the surface. A great video clip in any event- you're right, a man HAS to TRUST his barber.
My hands have always been just a tad too shaky to attempt a straight razor. Maybe when I'm retired and I can grow my goatee, I'll get a straight razor to shave the sides of my face. But for now I use a safety razor from Merkur. Great shave.
And every time I get a chance to actually sit in a real barber's chair, I do. It's becoming a lost art.
You have to know your limitations. I learned to shave with a straight- a Red Devil, to be exact- and I have the scars to show for it.
