This is still gonna hurt like hell.
This country is fucked up so badly that there is no easy fix. No simple cure. Were we a patient in a hospital, we would be the grossly obese blob with MRSA infections under several of our multiple folds of flab, and it's severe enough that we need not just antibiotics but hundreds of pounds of flesh cut away to get rid of the rot.
I'd also like to point out that the shock to the body from doing that can kill a person rather easily if things go wrong.
