(D)emocrats hate the flag

Gateway Pundit : America-Hating Dems Caught On Tape -- Refuse to Stand For Pledge of Allegiance
America-hating libs in New York State refuse to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. The Democrats even stopped their colleagues from standing for the Pledge...
Barack Hussein Obama didn't just refuse to wear an American flag pin, he dramatically announced it. He painted over the flag on his campaign jet, he refused to say the pledge... yet Cuban flags with the murderer Che Guevera adorn his campaign offices and Barack Hussein Obama rushes to side with Communists Chavez and Castro and Ortega and Morales against the democracies they seek to overturn.

Barack Hussein Obama sucks dictator.

Happy 4th!

As hard as it is, I'm going to avoid any politics today. I've got plenty to do, and the step-son and I made up nine pounds of bratwurst to cook up for dinner with friends.

Spend time with your friends and family, and have a happy 4th of July.

Duke rape case

What, did you think about the white Lacrosse players? No, sorry, this is the Duke professor who raped his adopted son. For some reason, it didn't make it into the national news like that other rape case, where all those Lacrosse players were innocent.

Frank Lombard is the associate director of Duke’s Center for Health Policy. The university administrator was recently arrested by the FBI and charged with offering up his adopted 5-year-old son for sex. I tried to contact Frank Lombard over the weekend to probe his expertise regarding the health benefits of raping small children. So far, he’s declined to comment.

University administrator Lombard is accused of logging on to a chat room online and describing himself as a “perv dad for fun.” The detective who wisely looked into the suspicious screen name says that Lombard admitted to molesting his own adopted son. All this was before allegedly inviting a stranger to travel to North Carolina from another state to statutorily rape his already-molested adopted son.

I'm about to get all kinds of un-politically correct here - but in all the Catholic child molestation cases, did you ever hear about a Catholic priest molesting a little girl? Nope, it was boys, boys, boys.

Will I lose readers for that comment? Doubtfull, since I have very few readers to begin with. But there it is. And you can draw your own conclusions.

The thought of having sex with a five year old is disgusting. Period. End of story. If you like having sex with a five year old, get the hell out. Stop reading. I don't need you reading this blog. But you know what? The thought of adopting a five year old with the thought of raping him?

I don't care who you are, that's worthy of the firing squad. I do not honestly believe that you can "rehabilitate" someone who likes to screw a five-year old boy. Someone who adopts a little boy with the express purpose of molesting him? There's no turning back. You might be able to beg God for forgiveness, but I do not believe that you can ever return to society from that. You rape a five year old, you deserve a blindfold and five bullets. That. Is. It.

But what do you hear from the Left? Crickets. Where are the dozens of professors signing a statement denouncing the rape? I mean, like all those professors signed against the lacrosse players?

Oh, there isn't one? What a fucking surprise. Because a gay man raping a little black boy is OK with them.

Gah. Can anyone give me one reason to let this asshat live?

Compare and Contrast

Over at Gateway Pundit there's two photos, one of a small rally in support of Zelaya, and one of a massive rally against Zelaya. Guess which rally the American Media American Communist Party Propaganda Corps focused on?

Would you like to die a horrible, painful death?

Then just let Obama and the government take over your health care. At this point I have no hope of preventing the takeover. You can shove proof under a Leftist nose and they ignore it. You can provide reams of evidence to a Leftist and they ignore it. You can show the them results of their plans, and a Leftist will blame it on someone else. You can shove a Leftist's failure after failure right under their nose, and they will sniff and proclaim it to be a bouquet of roses.

They are pushing for a system that cannot work, will not work, and more importantly DOES NOT WORK. This isn't some theory. This isn't guesswork. This isn't just on paper, there are real world examples of systems that the Left wants to impose on this country and they all fail to meet the standards set by the American health care system.

Infant mortality rates are often cited as a reason socialized medicine and a single-payer system is supposed to be better than what we have here. But according to Dr. Linda Halderman, a policy adviser in the California State Senate, these comparisons are bogus.

As she points out, in the U.S., low birth-weight babies are still babies. In Canada, Germany and Austria, a premature baby weighing less than 500 grams is not considered a living child and is not counted in such statistics. They're considered "unsalvageable" and therefore never alive.

Norway boasts one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world — until you factor in weight at birth, and then its rate is no better than in the U.S.

In other countries babies that survive less than 24 hours are also excluded and are classified as "stillborn." In the U.S. any infant that shows any sign of life for any length of time is considered a live birth.

A child born in Hong Kong or Japan that lives less than a day is reported as a "miscarriage" and not counted. In Switzerland and other parts of Europe, a baby is not counted as a baby if it is less than 30 centimeters in length.

In 2007, there were at least 40 mothers and their babies who were airlifted from British Columbia alone to the U.S. because Canadian hospitals didn't have room. It's worth noting that since 2000, 42 of the world's 52 surviving babies weighing less than 400g (0.9 pounds) were born in the U.S.

It must be embarrassing to Canada that a G-7 economy and a country of 30 million people can't offer the same level of health care as a town of just over 50,000 in rural Montana. Where will Canada send its preemies and other critical patients when we adopt their health care system?

I hope that the people who voted for Obama are the first ones to die in his health care system. Found via The Smallest Minority.

OUTFUCKINGSTANDING!

Keep this up, Honduras! It's nice to see that at least one country in North America understands what the rule of law means.

Newly appointed President Roberto Micheletti said it would take a foreign invasion put Zelaya back in power, and said he was sending a delegation to Washington in an attempt to reverse the country's increasing international isolation, though his own foreign minister later denied that.

The fact that the world would rather deal with a Leftist dictator-wannabe shows that it's the world who's mentally, morally and intellectually deficient, not Honduras. And it's obvious that my country's leadership cannot recognize the rule of law at all, preferring instead to support a criminal who would rip his country's constitution into shreds in his naked grab for power.

But as I said, the Democrat American Communist Party has yet to find a Leftist thug it wouldn't perform fellatio on. So we shouldn't be too surprised at all that Obama and Congress support the thug. They supported Venezuela over Columbia. That's all that needs to be said.

So I'm raising a glass to Honduras tonight. Let them keep telling Obama and the rest of the communist cohorts to go fuck off. At least one country in the world understands that Leftists cannot be reasoned with.

Congratulations, Minnesota

You are now represented by a complete and total fucking retard.

Ending an eight-month legal battle, Republican Norm Coleman conceded Tuesday to Democrat Al Franken in the Minnesota Senate race after the state's high court ruled that Franken should be certified as the winner.

As a friend of mine put it - "He was elected by two counties. And only two counties." So it's sort of like King County in Washington state, a cesspool of idiocy surrounded by people who hate it.

This is why the 17th Amendment was such a bad idea. Repealing the 17th Amendment would allow individual States to be represented. As it stands now, we have two houses of representatives, which was never supposed to take place.

When is that civil war coming along?

The "wise latina" shown to be otherwise by the Supreme Court

I have no doubts that y'all have heard about the New Haven decision. Even though I do not believe this will fully derail her, watching the White House try to minimize this tells me that it is a start and I feel I must celebrate!

The Supreme Court's rejection of a decision against white firefighters endorsed by Judge Sonia Sotomayor gives Republicans a renewed chance to attack her speeches and writings but is not expected to imperil her confirmation to the high court, political and legal sources said yesterday.

The decision that the New Haven, Conn., firefighters were unfairly denied promotions because of their race comes two weeks before Sotomayor's Senate confirmation hearings and is an unwelcome distraction for the White House from what had seemed like a relatively smooth confirmation process. It is also somewhat of an embarrassment, forcing administration officials to explain why the court overturned a controversial decision backed by its prospective next member.

Sotomayor was on the three-judge appellate court panel that last year upheld New Haven's decision to throw out a promotion test it gave the firefighters when no African Americans and only two Hispanics qualified for advancement. The 134-word order has been the flash point for much of the debate since President Obama nominated Sotomayor for the Supreme Court. The high court yesterday narrowly reversed the appellate court decision, ruling 5-4 in favor of the white firefighters who sued New Haven. It was the fourth time the Supreme Court has overturned Sotomayor; it has upheld her decisions three times. Experts say the court customarily reverses three-quarters of the cases it reviews.

As reactions broke along the partisan lines seen yesterday on the Supreme Court itself, conservatives called the decision a repudiation of Sotomayor. They signaled they will use it to sharply question her about her views on discrimination, especially in conjunction with her 2001 remark that a "wise Latina woman" would usually decide cases better than a white man.

"Every citizen has a right to have his or her case heard by a judge who will rule on the laws, the facts and the Constitution -- and not play favorites," said Sen. Jeff Sessions (Ala.), the ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee. "This case sharpens our focus on Judge Sotomayor's troubling speeches and writings, which indicate the opposite belief: that personal experiences and political views should influence a judge's decision."

But Hans von Spakovsky, a legal scholar at the conservative Heritage Foundation and a former Justice Department official, said the case raised questions about Sotomayor's fitness to serve on the high court. "Judge Sotomayor's willingness . . . to allow her admitted personal biases towards certain racial and ethnic groups affect her judging raises serious questions about her qualifications to sit on the Supreme Court," he said.

On the Honduran "coup"

And yes, I put scare quotes around the word "coup", because despite the AP's breathless pronouncement of such, and despite our government's ill placed and ill advised pronouncements, it's not a coup. Just to recount a few points -

The former Honduran president, Manuel Zelaya, was limited by the Honduran constitution to a single four-year term. Zelaya happens to be a Leftist, and like all Leftists he didn't give a shit about his country's constitution when it got in the way of his personal power grab. So he decided to hold a referendum in direct violation of his country's constitution, in order to remain the president after his four year term.

The Supreme Court of Honduras said the referendum was illegal, and would not allow the Honduran government to print up any ballots or do anything to hold Zelaya's referendum. So Zelaya gets a bunch of ballots from his pal Hugo Chavez. The Supreme Court of Honduras forbade the Honduran military from conducting any polls or distributing any ballots. The top general in Honduras tells Zelaya that he won't obey any illegal orders, so Zelaya fires him. The Honduran courts tell Zelaya to re-instate the general, and Zelaya tells them to fuck off. Zelaya finally leads a mob to break into a military base and get the ballots that his pal Hugo Chavez sent. At that point, the military arrests him and ships him off to Costa Rica.

Here's a good run-down of it.

While Honduran law allows for a constitutional rewrite, the power to open that door does not lie with the president. A constituent assembly can only be called through a national referendum approved by its Congress.

But Mr. Zelaya declared the vote on his own and had Mr. Chávez ship him the necessary ballots from Venezuela. The Supreme Court ruled his referendum unconstitutional, and it instructed the military not to carry out the logistics of the vote as it normally would do.

The top military commander, Gen. Romeo Vásquez Velásquez, told the president that he would have to comply. Mr. Zelaya promptly fired him. The Supreme Court ordered him reinstated. Mr. Zelaya refused.

Calculating that some critical mass of Hondurans would take his side, the president decided he would run the referendum himself. So on Thursday he led a mob that broke into the military installation where the ballots from Venezuela were being stored and then had his supporters distribute them in defiance of the Supreme Court's order.

The attorney general had already made clear that the referendum was illegal, and he further announced that he would prosecute anyone involved in carrying it out. Yesterday, Mr. Zelaya was arrested by the military and is now in exile in Costa Rica.

And this is supposed to be a coup? Hmmmmm.... since when does ENFORCING THE LAW OF THE COUNTRY AND SAID COUNTRY'S CONSTITUION EQUAL A COUP????

And of course team Obama jumps right in defending Zalaya, because really, there hasn't been a communist dictator that the Democrat American Communist Party wouldn't coddle up to. Hey Obama? When you're siding with Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, you're on the wrong fucking side, you damned shithead. Yeah, people were getting SHOT IN THE FUCKING HEAD while they protested in Iran, and Team Obama yawned out some half-assed platitude about how the world was watching, but let one ball-gargling communist get put in his place after they try to violate their country's constitution, and Obama is all over that!

I hope that Honduras continues to tell brainless asshats like Obama and Chavez to take a flying fuck at a rolling donut. There's one less Leftist in power in Latin America, and that's a good thing, no matter what Obama the fucking idiot says.

New Tactics in Afghanistan

If you've got the time, reading this might be beneficial. I haven't written about GEN McChrystal's new rules of engagement in Afghanistan, mainly because while I heard the howling of the masses regarding his new rules, I also knew that McChrystal wasn't some politically correct doofus.

So if you're into the military mode of thinking, go give it a read.
