The Ragin' Mrs. and I were talking last night, discussing the nation, and who the nominee is going to be for the Republican party, and she pops out with "Well, if we're going to have a Democrat in the President's office, it might as well be McCain."
Let me make this prediction right here and now - if McCain gets the nomination, it will fundamentally change the Republican party as we all think we know it. Even if conservatives hold their nose and vote for McCain over Hillary Rotten Anti-christ, the moment they walk out of the voting booth they will then walk away from the GOP forever.
It'll be a shitty couple of years after that.
