Just a nudge

Since I'm tired of politics right now, go visit DANEgerus and just start scrolling. See also RNS. Covering politics, so that I don't have to.

I wouldn't say that I'm burnt out on politics, but between classes and other obligations, I just don't have the time to follow it all right now. Couple that with the fact that as a military member living overseas, I'm an absentee voter. And since I knew I would be away from my house until early November, I've already filled out my absentee ballot and mailed it in. Also, since I'm a legal resident of Idaho, I don't have to worry about the Left tossing my vote into the circular file the moment it hits the county office. Add all this up, and I really don't have much of an interest in watching the Left lie, steal, slander, and violate their way into public office without so much as a hint of a fight from the Republicans. I dunno, maybe I'm watching the wrong races. I think that many conservatives are tired of fighting the Republican's battles for them. Toss in the feeling of many conservatives that we've been betrayed by the Republican party, and this might just be an ugly November for the Right.

However, that can only come about if people like me decided not to vote this year. And since I'd rather castrate myself with a beltsander than allow the gun-grabbing, power-hungry, socialist Dimocrats to run this country, I voted just so that I could vote against them.

That doesn't mean that I'm happy with the Republicans. It means that I'm scared to death of what the Dimocrats would do to this country. They're insane, folks. Unhinged. Loony. Coo-coo for Commie-Puffs. And insane people should never be allowed in power.
